Attorney Lauren P. Raysor, Esq. Discusses “Living The Wealthy Life” at Annual Healthcare Weekend Extravaganza

Monday, September 20, 2010

On September 25, Lauren P. Raysor, Esq., a Manhattan-based civil rights attorney and former prosecutor, will be hosting an informative workshop on “Living The Wealthy Life” during a health symposium that is part of the Annual Healthcare Weekend Extravaganza, sponsored by Sister to Sister International. The workshop will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, located at 445 South Broadway in Tarrytown.

In her book, Ms. Raysor says that every person has the ability to transform their current situation into something truly magnificent, regardless of their social or economic background. The transformation starts from within as people learn to take responsibility for their own actions rather than blame others. As an example, Ms. Raysor describes how she rose from poverty to become Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, Deputy Chief and later Senior Trial Counsel for New York City and before starting her own practice.

“Living The Wealthy Life” is an up-close and personal examination of what it takes to make your life great. Ms. Raysor lists and explains the “18 Principles of Wealthy Living” and reveals what those decisions are, what you need to know when you’re making them and how to capitalize on each success to propel yourself closer to greatness.

The Healthcare Weekend Extravaganza is a three-day event which promotes health awareness by providing complimentary health screenings and free literature to help women document their health screenings and understand what their statistics mean. There will also be activities and lectures with an emphasis on improving women’s physical, mental and spiritual health.
