Monday, January 18, 2010

Attorney Brian Andrew Tully, Esq., Founder/President, The ElderCare Resource Center, Inc., is proud to announce that the ElderCare Resource Center Web site (www.eldercareresourcecenter.info), an online resource guide for the elderly and their caregivers, has been updated to provide more information for the elderly and their caregivers. The Web site was updated by The Public Relations and Marketing Group, LLC (PRMG).

The ElderCare Resource Center, Inc., which initially launched in 2004, was created by dedicated New York elder care professionals with the goal of providing information and contacts to those in need of help. The Resource Center was recognized as the Small Education Business of the Year in 2005 by the Huntington Regional Business Partnership. The Center contains more than 700 links to elder care resources. Visitors can click on the links to view directories to local, state and federal agencies; geriatric physicians; assisted living facilities and nursing homes; and senior interest and advocacy groups.

In addition, the ElderCare Resource Center offers legal resources and other information on age-related health issues; finding a caregiver; where they can find senior housing; and Medicare and Medicaid issues. The Web site also explains how to plan for long-term care and insurance and end-of-life care with its palliative care resource guide.

At the ElderCare Resource Center, seniors and their caregivers can review more than 200 books, brochures and pamphlets on senior issues. “The ElderCare Resource Center Web site provides all the information anyone needs for themselves or a loved one when it comes to elder care,” said Mr. Tully. “The Web site provides contact information for government agencies, home health care agencies and medical practitioners. It is important that the elderly receive not only the best care possible, but the most information possible so they and their caregivers can make better-informed decisions about their care.”

Mr. Tully is certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and focuses his law practice on life care planning, elder law, estate planning, Medicaid benefits and asset protection.
